Die „Women in the Know“ VdU Bookfair Special “Chances in Transition“ Veranstaltung findet am 14. Oktober 2017 (17 – 20 Uhr) im Business Club der Frankfurter Buchmesse 2017 statt.
Diese exklusive Veranstaltung richtet der Verband deutscher Unternehmerinnen (VdU) seit 2016 aus und dieses Jahr in Kooperation mit den Digital Media Women. Gemeinsam mit den Vertreterinnen des Gastlandes Frankreich und weiterer französischsprachiger Länder werden sich Margit Dietz (Vorsitzende des VdU-Hessen) und Anne-Marie DeJonghe (VdU Bayern Süd) mit den Chancen und Impulsen auseinandersetzen, die sich für das Unternehmertum durch die aktuellen globalen Veränderungen ergeben haben.
Diese Veränderungen, beschleunigt durch die Digitalisierung, betreffen die Medienbranche, und weite Teile der Wirtschaft, des Arbeitsmarktes und des sozialen Lebens.

She has more than 20 years of Venture Capital and Private Equity experience. She is a serial entrepreneur turned investor and has been a Philanthropist since 1974, supporting more than 38 organizations worldwide.

After working for Carlsen and Haffman’s she was lector at Amman Verlag. In 2003 Sabine Dörlemann founded her own publishing house. In 2005, she was awarded with the Max Geilinger Prize, received a recognition from UBS in 2008, and the translator’s capacity of the VdÜ in 2008. In 2015, Dörlemann was awarded with the ProLitteris Award. She is member of the Montréal Book Fair Corporation, part of the Commission du livre of Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) and also she issitting on the Advisory Board on Reading and Books and the Working Table on the Book Industry at the Ministry of Culture and Communications.
