From 8 to 10 October everything in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Halle will focus on „Intelligence X.0“ and the opportunities of digital transformation. With new perspectives, the countdown to the biggest innovation festival in southern Germany has begun and our #DMW Stuttgart team members and six ticket winners are looking much forward to attend the exhibition.
What to expect
Besides networking, finding inspiration, connecting with forward-thinkers and global companies as well as startups – we expect many great talks, interactive sessions around the festival’s theme, about the prospects of digital transformation, tech and entrepreneurship, but also a digital art & music.
As part of the festival, 50 finalists from 15 countries of the international start-up contest will present their innovative business models on three days, focusing on „Beyond Reality“, „Machine Intelligence“ and „Cryptographic Trust“. The top ten will then have the opportunity to convince the VIP jury once again at the „TOP 10 Startup Pitches“ on Tuesday morning. The winners will be awarded in the evening as part of an award show. The CODE_n Awards are endowed with a total of 30,000 Euros.
In numerous lectures, representatives of renowned companies, universities and research institutions from over 20 countries will report on the latest developments in AI, VR and XR. In addition, there will be open discussions, interactive workshops on key topics such as AI or innovation methods such as Harry Gatterer’s „Future Room“ and a hackathon. Various networking formats such as speed dating also offer participating start-ups and established companies the opportunity to talk to each other about potential cooperation. Each morning and lunchtime, moderated meditation sessions will be held on how to cope with stress through mindfulness.
My Personal Highlight
My personal highlight is already now the grand opening of the tech event; when humanoid robot Sophia from Hongkong joins Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing Construction Baden-Württemberg. And I further hope to engage personally with the very special guest from Hanson Robotics that will be part of podium discussions, interviews and so forth.
